WHAT IS VOA?
The T2COM G2 Virtual OPFOR Academy (VOA) provides Doctrine Based and Combat Training Center (CTC)-focused instruction to support threat replication across Army training environments. VOA courses help Soldiers and OPFOR Cadre accurately emulate near-peer and hybrid adversaries using current doctrine, tactics, and execution models.
Whether supporting a home-station training event or preparing for a CTC rotation, VOA equips users with the knowledge to enhance realism, pacing, and threat portrayal at every echelon.
DOCTRINE BASED COURSES
Courses in this track are grounded in official Army Training Publications and OPFOR doctrine. They provide foundational knowledge on adversary tactics, operations, and frameworks to support threat emulation in home-station and institutional training.
CHINESE TACTICS COURSE (ATP 7-100.3)
This course aims to equip OPFOR Soldiers with a thorough understanding of Chinese military tactics and operational frameworks utilizing ATP 7-100.3 as a foundation. The course centers on the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of the People's Republic of China's military doctrine, with a particular emphasis on ground forces and tactical operations.
RUSSIAN TACTICS COURSE (ATP 7-100.1)
This course aims to equip OPFOR Soldiers with a thorough understanding of Russian military tactics and operational frameworks utilizing ATP 7-100.1 as a foundation. The course centers on the Ground Forces of the Russian Federation (SV) military doctrine, with a particular emphasis on ground forces and tactical operations.
OPFOR OPERATIONS & TACTICS COURSE
This course aims to equip OPFOR Soldiers with a thorough understanding of OPFOR tactics and operations utilizing TC 7-100.2 and FM 7-100.1 as a foundation. The course centers on OPFOR's Offensive & Defensive strategies, covering various topics including Urban Combat, Area Defense, Integrated Attack, Counter Reconnaissance, and Maneuver Defense.
CTC OPFOR ACADEMY COURSES
Courses to prepare OPFOR Leaders and Soldiers to accurately emulate hybrid threat forces during CTC training rotations. Each course is tailored to the specific CTC environment and mission, providing foundational knowledge of the threat, operational context, and key responsibilities for OPFOR execution.
JPMRC VIRTUAL OPFOR ACADEMY
This course aims to equip Opposing Forces (OPFOR) Leaders and Soldiers with an understanding of the Operational Environment (OE) and Threat of the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC) Combat Training Center (CTC) before attending the OPFOR Academy Phase II SME led instruction.

Courses aimed to equip OPFOR Leaders and Soldiers with an understanding of the Operational Environment (OE) and Threat during Combat Training Center (CTC) rotations before attending the OPFOR Academy.
